Hello Team,

 

How do i change catalog home page and other pages by removing following side items and make it look like etsy.com / pinterest.com

 

since i want to sell items like wallpapers, wooden flooring these require only images to be shown then other details

 

 

I want to remove 

 

Left Side: 

Categories

Manufacturers list

Information 

 

Right Side

Polls  (I have removed it by deleting all polls)

and other right side elements

Thanks Michael,

 

I have replaced layout page for all searched pages from 

SmartStore.Web->Views->Shared->_ColumnsThree.cshtml  

to 

SmartStore.Web->Views->Shared->_ColumnsTwo.cshtml

and customized the sections as per my needs.

 

I also want product picture (thumbnail)  in catalog to be bigger instead of small and occupy _ProductBox.cshtml completely keeping only text and price at bottom.

1. how do i increase size of product images?

2. I will need to make some css / style changes to SmartStore.Web>Views>Catelog >_ProductBox.cshtml right?

 

please guide if you find time.

You can alter the size of the thumbnails here:

 

Admin->Configuration->Settings->Media Settings->Product thumbnail image size (catalog)

 

I would never edit any views to make style changes (else updating to a new version can become difficult).

Within the latest release there's a file named user.less which is meant to be edited for these purposes.

If you don't have the latest version I'd recommend creating such a file and import it within site.less.
