Building from Main Branch or Latest Release

Please do not use the main branch for production. The branch is constantly being worked on and may contain unfinished stuff.
It is best to use the official release or (for 5.1.0) the branch 5.1.0.x. The latter contains hotfixes.

Hello everyone, 

There are over 600 commits since the latest release. I would like to know if its safe to build from the main branch for a production version on 5.1.0.
