I could not find an example and all my trials failed. There is an example to modify an order and mark it as paid, but how can I read an order payment information?

What exactly do you mean by order payment information? Do you want to get the payment status?

If multiple payments sums up to the total order amount, I would like to read each payment amount, time, method. Otherwise, single payment information only.

Do you mean recurring payments? I have added an issue for this so that it can be accessed via the API.
