We have noticed that we have number of the same IPs create Guest accounts. We looked them up and it looks like those IPs are from search engine bots. Is there a way to create system accounts that will eliminate all duplicate records. We have close to 50K guest accounts per search engine created in the past month.

I will create an issue for that. Currently there is only the scheduled task to delete guest records. So please check if it's enabled.

Delete guest records scheduled task only deletes 5k records at the time we have over 1.5 million guest accounts created in the last month alone. We need to have a way to prevent bots creating separate guest account for each time they hit our site and combine their visits into single Guest account per search engine.

I've created an issue for it. Probably the search engine detection is insufficient in your case because there is already a build-in search engine user.
