Feature request: annotations within images

Hi Smartstore,

(is there a dedicated thread for feature requests?)

it'd be great to have a function to embed annotations within images, see attachments. This would be useful to enhance product understanding especially for technical products.

Hello Torben, we created a custom plugin for a similar use case. You can see it here.

Use case there is more than just annotation: shop user clicks on a part number in overview drawing and then lands on the article detail page for that.
