Dear developers,

how can I determine an effect if I enter MetaKeywords in "HomePageText" in SmartStore 3.2. Contrary to my expectations, the full-text search found none of the entered MetaKeywords in the source code of the HomePage!

Where is my mistake?

The shop search does not search the source code but product data of fields selected in the search settings.

I do not mean the shop search here, but the search in the source code of the rendered page. When I enter keywords and other metadata in the SEO area, I assume that they are intended for the search engines. However, if they don't appear on the page's source code, no search engine can find them. This only happens with "HomePageText", there is no metadata entered in the header of the page.
In the other pages, e.g. Contact etc. the terms are available in the header.
The attachment shows which entries have been made under SEO.

this looks like a lot of individual code changes. Does the problem exist even if you use an original theme?
Have you installed the DynamicText plugin?

HomePageText is rendered as a widget and metadata of widgets are not appended to the page's metadata. The backend UI is somewhat confusing at this point and should be revised.

Hi Wolfgang, thanks for the answer. We haven't changed 1 byte of your code. Everything runs through our plugin, which enables us to overload your views with ours. In addition there are our (s) css files. And yes, the problem also exists with the original software - we checked that first and you can also check it at http://nepp24.net/.
HomePageText is no longer a widget, thanks to Marcus.
The DynamicText plugin is not installed, do we need it for that? Why does it work with the other sites (see Contacts)

Hi, debugging has shown that the entries for SEO at HomePageText are without any meaning. The special SEO settings of the respective page (topic) are rendered in TopicDetails.cshtml and are ineffective for the homepage and should be blocked for HomePageText.
