Hi,
I'm analyzing to use the Smartstore platform for my marketplace.
I want to create a marketplace with multi stores where each one may create their products.
My idea is to have one page like the demo but by Store.
I found a "Stores" section in the admin and I created one. However, I could not set a user/password for that store.
After creating that store with Store URL http://localhost:3329/Ariel (localhost:3329 is my local environment), when I access to that URL, I get a 404 error message.
Basically, I need one domain (for example: www.mystore.com) and one page by store (for example, www.mystore.com/store1, www.mystore.com/store2). Then, I would need a principal homepage that would show product of all stores.
Could you help me?
Thanks!
Ariel

I guess you are talking about multi-vendor option which is not available out of the box
Best regards

I understand the multi-store function. However, I don't want that.
I want a multi-vendor function, I think.
What I need is 1 domain with multiple vendors. I need the ability as administrator to create vendors with a username/password.
Then they should be able to login to their panels and add their products, manage their sales.
The domain should be one (for example: www.mystore.com) and the vendors pages should be subdirectories (for example: www.mystore.com/test1 and www.mystore.com/test2).
Is that possible?
Thanks

As Robin said, not out of the box. There is nothing like a "vendor" entity yet. Catalog data cannot be shared under one installation.
