Update From 1.0.0 to 2.2.2

One of my website is running on 1.0.0 version and I would like to update it on 2.2.2 without lose any theme customization and data.

Please help!!!

Hi,

first of all create a backup of your database and your filesystem so you are able to restore your shop.

Then run all the migration scripts against the database.

SmartStore.Web\App_Data\Migrations

The next step is to overwrite your filesystem with the files of the current version.

Now SmartStore.NET should be up to date without any data loss.

To migrate your theme customizations you have to implement them anew.

If you haven't documented your changes and if you still have the original code of 1.0.0 you could run a comparison with a programm like WinMerge to see what was changed.
