Hi,

 

I'm wanting to import product data using the built-in Import functionality in v5.x, but I don't know how the CSV should be formatted.  Do you have an example template?

 

I think the ability to download an empty template (just showing the necessary column headers) would be a worthwhile feature.

Hi Nick,

 

the best practice is to simply export a csv first and then use that file as a template. You will need our commercial plugin "Common Export Providers". As an added benefit, you can export a lot of data from smartstore. Please contact sales@smartstore.com

 

Another more involved way would be to look up the header names for your csv file in our public sources on github.
