HI

 

When installing a clean version on host server I get the Install page but can't move forward keep I give it all the information and hit the install.

 

I can see behind the install running screen that there is an error 

 

 

I tired both creating the DB before install and no DB still am not able to get past this kind of error???

Tried using "Server Authenticatioin" and "Windows"  ??

 

trying alll different combinations of above I still get me an error either "user can't login" or the {object object}

 

 

What am i doing wrong??

Update to issue ... 

 

The host support says now 

 

I could not install it either, and found below error in our server log
Unable to load 'h:\root\home\judaica-001\www\judicaStore52\.\hostfxr.dll'. This might be caused by a bitness mismatch between IIS application pool and published application.

Is it possible for you to install the version we provided in our app-installer? We may need time to check the new version issue further.

Hi Meir, this looks to me like a complicated hosting/installation related issue that can only be worked on with full server access, obviously not via some text in a forum. If possible, please do a full clean install of Smartstore 5.0.2. Best regards Stefan

Thanks for the help so far

 

The situation i have now is the following

 

I was able to install a clean 5.0.2 on the same server that my 5.0.0 is installed.

 

I tried to copy the app_data and the www from the 5.0.0 directory overwriting the new but it wouldn't run

 

So I now reverted to a clean version of 5..0.2 and did a restore of db from 5.0.0 

 

I see all the products and categories listed but the "stores" don't exist and the images don't load. How can i get that data from the 5.0.0 into the 5.0.2??

there must be no mixing between a 5.0 or 5.01 and a 5.0.2 store.

Hi

 

I understand can't mix versions . My question is will the  following procedure work

 

1) Stop the Version 5.0.0 website wiithout deleting the files/folders

2) install the new Version 5.0.2 giving it deefinitioon to the existing Version 5.0.0 Database 

3) copy the App_data and www folders to the new install directory

 

Then add the 2 domains to the new site
