Hi

I installed the Smartstore translantion but now i get server error 

 

 

FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'AngleSharp, Version=0.17.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=e83494dcdc6d31ea'. The system cannot find the file specified.

 

 

I set the second language to Published =false via the mssql but still doesn't help I can't access the website at all !!

Update on situation

 

I get the error not on all pages but when trying to send email from

 

ContactUs (both stores)

Product Page on robinscreations.store site

which Smartstore version is used exactly and was downloaded where?

What exactly was done before the error occurred?

That seems to be a server setup problem on your side.

 

lets break that down

 

Your error message reads: Could not load file or assembly 'AngleSharp, Version=0.17.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=e83494dcdc6d31ea'. The system cannot find the file specified.

 

"AngleSharp is a .NET library that gives you the ability to parse angle bracket based hyper-texts like HTML, SVG, and MathML. XML without validation is also supported by the library. " https://anglesharp.g...al/introduction

 

Smartstore wants to get "Version=0.17.1.0" but that is somehow not available to your Smartstore installation. This is more technically involved. You need to check (with an admin/your hoster) why.

 

You can go yourself to Smartstore Admin -> System --> System information and there a click on "loaded assemblys" This shows you. which assemblys are loaded / used with your Smartstore installation. Use CTRL+F in your web browser to quickly search for "Angle" to find all versions of anglesharp assemblies in that very long list.

 

Below is a screenshot of that list in my Smartstore 5.0.1 demoshop. I have two versions of AngleSharp on my system. (see the bright red arrows)

 

In Smartstore Release 5.0.1 AngleSharp is included in Version 0.17.1.0.

The question is why on store 2 all works fine but on store 1 when i try to go to a product detail I get the error.. ?? 

 

If it can't find the file for store 1 but doesn't have a problem with store 2 ??

 

( meanwhile i dissabled the Translation so that I could continue working on  the sites !)

I did aa search as you suggested and didn't find it. SO requested my Host Support to  check and they say

You should add it to your local project with NuGet and publish all assemblies to server later with Web Deploy.

Should i upgrade to Version 5.0.1 ? If so what is the procedure for that ?

You should, as it contains some important hotfixes bundled in a nice package.

there is an update guide in the docs. Most important is backup of all your files in webroot and the database. Ask your hoster how to best backup your webspace and database. As of 5.0.0 you can also backup your database completely web based, with help of a tool of smartstore admin. See screenshot:

FYI I Tired to do the Maintenance backup and I get the following error

 

 

Cannot open backup device 'h:\root\home\mrrwordpress-001\www\livestore\store5judaica\App_Data\Tenants\Default\DbBackups\db_a8b0bb_s500_1-5.0.0.0-20230107204551.bak'. Operating system error 3(The system cannot find the path specified.).
BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally.

 

 

 

Will do it from the host account control panel instead

i did the upgrade and did an IIS stop and start of the site

 

 

I now get the following error
