Taking a look at the backend demo, it seems that in the new NET6 version, both the forum, poll and news will be through licensed plugins. Will this version lose so many features? Will the API be paid again?

Forum, poll and news were indeed outsourced to plugins. These areas are not used by all stores and there was no clear reason to make them part of the Smartstore core again.
The API plugin will continue to be open-source and therefore free of charge. Nothing will change in this regard. At the moment it is not yet available because it has not been ported yet.
