I am trying to add a discount if a customer buys 5 items in a specific category, they get a certain amount off. I tried using a requirement with a scope of cart and then select product is in category, but it didn’t show any conditions or options. Am I missing something?

sorry that is not possible with rule builder out of the box. A limitation.

 

There is no condition like "5 articles from category x" or "x articles from cat. y" with x, y parameters to be entered by rule builder user.

 

You cannot add a second parameter in Rule Builder. Only one parameter per condition for now.

 

 

That rule has to be developed individually. You can do that as a developer or contact us to develop that for you.

 

Rule Builder Code is open source and in Smartstore Github.
