So i created scheduled task for the Import Profiles. I would now expect that they will also show up in de Admin --> System --> Scheduled Tasks, or is this a wrong assumption?
 
Is it also possible to create your own Scheduled Task? For example calling the "~/Admin/Product/FixProductMainPictureIds" url from this topic?

They are displayed in list if ScheduleTask.Type is set correctly so that the task can be found in the code.

Alright, thanks clear. But how about the Schuduled task that you can create in the GUI of the import profiles? Those task don't show up in the Scheduled Tasks overview?

Yes, they're hidden (ScheduleTask.IsHidden).

Aha that explains it. Why are they hidden? It would be more abvious (for me) that when they are enabled they appear in the Schedelud Tasks overview?

A kind of "system tasks". It is more intuitive to start and control imports via the import profile list or directly via the profile. And probably confusing when hundreds of profiles have been created.
