Does anyone know why I can not find the filter sidebar widget?

Hello Wayne,

 

you can find the Sidebar Widget settings under Configuration > Settings > Search. We are currently reworking all of the documents thats why there can be content which is outdated.

Thank you for the reply.

 

However, that does not seem to be the answer.  I can confirm that I have the Premium version of Smart Store installed and temporarily licensed. 

 

Even with this premium version setup and running I do not see where any attributes or specifications are added to any of the sidebar controls for filtering results (in other words I do not see where the faceted search has been enabled or expanded)… Using the test data, I enabled filtering on BallSize (attribute) and Operating System (Specification), and checked according to the previous answer/reply to this topic but to do see where or how to enable the widget that I had assumed was connected to the Premium MedaSearch Plus plugin and faceted search.

 

I have had no luck getting the faceted search to use anything other than the standard fields like Brand, Price, Rating, etc.

 

Please advise.

Click Plugins > MegaSearch in the backend. Ensure that Enable product attribute filters and Enable specification attribute filters are activated (only takes effect if MegaSearchPlus is installed). Rebuild the search index.

Unfortunately the sidebar widget is still missing.

I am very sorry it is working fine now!

 

I will continue to evaluate.

 

 

But I love Smart Store thus far!
