After activating GMC  and adding default category (2 tiers in) it generates the feed but its empty.

 

Activity log file states the following:

SmartStore Information: 8 : INFORMATION: Log file - Google Merchant Center feed.
    DateTime=2015-07-28T16:26:30.7370193Z
SmartStore Error: 2 : ERROR: The method or operation is not implemented.
    DateTime=2015-07-28T16:26:30.8464058Z

What is the SmartSore.NET version and what is the GMC plugin version?

Smartstore version 2.2.1.0 and GMC plugin version 2.2.0 but I see there is new version that was recently added. Let me try it and I will post back the results.

I have installed latest GMC plugin (file states 2.2.1.1 but in admin it shows 2.2.0.1) the same problem, no items in the feed. Most items are set to export and have Google Category to at least second tier.

Got it reproduced through the demo backend. Found a log entry that says that the field GoogleProduct.Export is missing.

If you have the same logged error (something like "invalid column name 'Export'") then you can try to reset the corresponding migration by executing the following SQL (System > Maintenance)

DELETE FROM [dbo].[__MigrationHistory] WHERE MigrationId = '201504211854125_IsActive' And ContextKey = 'SmartStore.FeedGoogle'

After I run a query, when I go to GMC Config section I get the following message now:

Migration '201504211854125_IsActive' could not be applied due to following error: 'Column names in each table must be unique. Column name 'Export' in table 'dbo.GoogleProduct' is specified more than once.'. All changes to the database were reversed to '201403112356126_Initial'. Please downgrade your application to a version which is known to be compatible with '201403112356126_Initial'.

Then this was not the reason (as I wrote just to execute if the Export error is in your system logs). Is there any other GMC related error in your system logs which could give us a hint about the reason?

There are no errors that related to Feed generation.

Yeah I am having the same issue as MaxiAids. I am not getting any errors in the log, Only in the Activitylog.txt that is generated when you attempt to generate the xml file. I'm running Smartstore v 2.2.2.0 and the plugin version 2.2.0.2.

no problems in my test-shop (Smartstore v 2.2.2.0 and the plugin version 2.2.0.2).

Please make two screenshots of the plugin settings ("General" and "Product specific data").

 

Is the write permissions for the content directory active?

please upgrade your shop to the latest version.

Shop: 2.2.2.0

GMC-Plugin: 2.2.0.2
Then check if the problem still exists.
