Hi everyone,

 

Just a question, let's assume i have multiple administrators for different stores. How to I control their access so that they can only add products to their own store? In product management the administrators are able to choose which stores to add the product to . How do I limit the option to their own authorized store? FYI I am still quite new to smartstore.

at this moment there is no multi vendor feature included in SmartStore.NET.

May I know what is the proper usage of the store which we can create in Configuration -> Store? What is the aim of the feature?

It configures the store entity which is the base for the multi-store feature. The core of the multi-store feature is to map http requests by the host value to a particular store (done by field "HOST values"). It allows to handle multiple stores under one installation. It should not be mixed up with multi-tenant, multi-installation, authorization etc.
