Is there a way to search the whole site, now I have under CMS Topics some items f.e. Luxaflex but if they make a search on this value there is nothing found cause it is not an article

No, that's not possible.

I cannot see anything to be fixed here. The search is intended to find products and not topics.

Actually seraching the site is the job of search engines and therefore topics has a SEO tab to specify meta data.

Hi Marcus I understand the search is intended for products but the title is search in store (I know I can change this in another title fe Find products)

 

Now I have topics  fe windows blinds from the Brand Luxaflex to add all these products is impossible so people come on the site type in Luxaflex but get no items and then they leave the site while I have some topics with Luxaflex in it fe.  http://wonen.com/t/Luxaflex and more items with Luxaflex (also in the blog) is there no plugin or another way

I would enrich a product with additional information so that it can be found through an internal search. Best field for that are product tags.

 

But product tags (and descriptions etc.) are not searched by default yet, only when the user selects "Search In product descriptions" in advanced search.

There is already an issue for that to let the merchant control that through an option.

You can set those topics as products maybe with a different product template.
