Hi guys,
Quick question - I've noticed a lot of images are stored in the Media/Thumbs/ folder.
My store image configuration is currently set to "database", so I was wondering why these files are even generated? Will it cause problems if they are deleted, or will they automatically regenerate using the data in the DB?

Hi Nick,
SmartStore.NET stores the images in the database and creates caches of the images on the hard disk.
If they are deleted, the will automatically regenerated if you open the product detail page.
