It is extremely disappointing that this software comes with absolutely no installation and configuration included with this software. Can you provide any installation and configuration documentation? Otherwise it would look like this is done deliberately to ensure people purchase your installation service - which means you couldn't really call your software open source to be honest. But that wouldn't be the case surely?

Hi and welcome to our forum,

 

nothing could be easier than installing SmartStore.NET

 

If you have got any problems installing the requirements just install SmartStore.NET via the Web Platform Installer

which is often preinstalled on Windows servers. It'll install the requirements automatically. 

 

Please let me know if you have any more problems installing or configuring SmartStore.NET

Had to turn off customErrors to see the error.

Was a permissions error, so used

 

<system.web>

    <trust level="Full" />

 

 

Was able to setup and run the install scripts.

Site came up after a couple of minutes.

 

It is very slow loading now though.

There are css errors on the login page, and on some of the admin pages so far.

 

Almost too slow between page requests to tolerate.

Today there isn't codeplex. can you please publish the installation docs

 

I have download the zip file, pointed to a web directory on my iis but nothing work!

tried to enter in src directory and open the solution, build obtain 64 error

 

i try to follow this:

 

1. SmartStore.NET package with source code contains the "ClickToBuild.cmd" batch file, which will deploy everything correctly for you 

   to a "Stage" folder. The build process will build the project in release mode and move all 

   compiled and deployable files to the correct directory.

 

but I have a lot of error?

 

I have visual studio 2012, I open the project I set the SmartStore.web as start project, I build only the progect and I have 4 errors.

the first is: Error 1 The type or namespace name 'StackExchange' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) D:\archivi_web\www.ssdevelop1.fab\www\src\Libraries\SmartStore.Services\Media\PictureService.cs 19 7 SmartStore.Services

yes the file exisit

What I don't understand is where i have made a mistake.

The instruction explain 3 step

 

- unzip

- compile

- point IIS

 

but in my pc don't work

ps. any one write that we need the framework 4.5.1 minimum
