Hi,
 
We bought the rss plugin and encounter two issues, when filters are enabled and you have some filters text the screen layout is out of line, it does not word wrap , see screenshot layout.

I also have a problem with a rss feed from the dutch police site, see the error snip. it was running fine until last monday the site was live and not in local prived environment anymore, no machine ip changed other then a forward from a public ip. A Other feed on https  is running fine.

Unfortunately the screenshots are very small. What I read is "The request was aborted. Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel".
Could you please post the URL of the feed that produced the error.

Please replace ~\Plugins\SmartStore.NewsImporter\SmartStore.NewsImporter.dll by the DLL in the attached archive. Then restart the shop (see gear icon in the right upper corner of the backend) and try to import again.

I replaced the dll but the same error, see below,

 

System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.
   at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()
   at SmartStore.NewsImporter.Services.NewsImporterService.ImportMain(NewsImporterImportContext context, IEnumerable`1 feeds, String url)

This morning i checked the store and see that the feed now works with no more errors, so it sloved the problem. why it did not work right after the replacement of the dll could be firewall and nat rule/stats active on the moment i replaced the dll.

I think it was a caching problem.
 
For the sake of completeness, here are the steps to fix caching problems with plugins:
Open the web.config in the root directory and search for this line. Increment numRecompilesBeforeAppRestart and set optimizeCompilations to False. Open a shop page (loading should take much longer) and execute the function or open the page that did not work before. Finally, please undo the changes in web.config.
