i want to change the number of products in the list of recently viewed list and disable the arrow to the right of the scrollbar when the last product in the recently viewed products appear.

You can find the setting in the backend under "Configuration > Settings > Catalog settings > Product detail > 'Recently viewed products' enabled and Number of 'Recently viewed products'".
